Author's Note: My computer slipped from my bed and the computer was dropped, therefore losing two-thirds of chapter 24. So if this new and rewritten Chapter 24 sucks… can we pretend the other one would have been better? >.> The dropping is also why it took so long at first because... it's really difficult to not be frustrated re-writing something. After that I just... kind of hated this chapter and didn't want to post it.

This is just a little short - part of an idea I had. Nothing new - we've all seen the stories where Riku and Sora are switched... except, as you'll notice, they aren't totally switched. In fact, they're sort of both going to be balanced between light and dark most of the story that follows the KH1 plot. Some things will be the same. Some will have slight differences - and there will be some things that are brand new. The pairings, when they began to happen, would take awhile to fully develop and there would probably be some dabbling along the way. I think it's going to be trio-fic, but don't quote me on that. This is just a little scene I decided to write.

There are some ideas - mainly one - that's similar to something in FF, but I assure you it's not unique to that game. Jeez, so long since the last time I updated. But my mind has been wandering down many other paths and out of my poor fandom - actually it's been wandering into Buffy/Harry Potter. But that's a different story. I finally got the Sephiroth battles side story done and it shall soon be posted. Hopefully with that done, my inspiration for Vagabonds will come back.

After finally getting myself hooked on New Doctor Who (though I unfortunately didn't see all of Series 1 or 2, just pieces, and shall have to fix that. I'm keeping up onS eries 3 through SciFi) and deciding I really wanted to know what happens on Torchwood, I started downloading it. Found out partway through the first download my sister has the whole thing already on her comp and since the computers are networked automatically, she just dropped all thirteen right onto my computer. So as a non-spoilery reaction...

Torchwood is definitely something I have to keep up on. afhsklghad... There's nothing I can say without harping on spoilery, and since it is starting on American BBC on the 8th, I'm not going to spoil people on the off chance of ruining it. Darker than Doctor Who, but I am so loving it. Especially Jack, but damn if a couple of the other characters aren't worming there way in.

The more time I spend running around IJ checking everything out, the more I feel so comfortable here. I mean, I've been poking around squeaky's journal, and the announcements especially. Seeing the answers to many of people's worried questions turn out so positively is great. Plus it seems the even though the friending limit was just raised, squeaky might raise it some more. Plus, I have more muse now. :D But I am really waiting for someone to make a more general kh community. Or a kh discussion community - I always liked seeing people's theories on the more vague parts of the game, and I don't even think there was something like that on LJ. Which makes one less likely to happen here - if I had time I might try it, but I am not a good community asylum manager.

Migration complete! ..Now I just have to change all the links in the Vagabond posts. :P However, very nice to find something this easy to use for a Macintosh.

I realized I should probably at the very least move/post all the story posts over here. Am too lazy right now. I kind of want to post them all at the same dates too. Pretty sure you can backdate posts as well as futuredate, yes? Uploaded most of my icons up over here - keeping the dragon as my default though. I also have to look out for the iconmakers here on IJ, so if they come over I can properly credit instead of just point to their LJ. And the next chapter of Vagabonds is done, but I am lazy and not wanting to edit it yet. *pokes brain* Get energy.

Not quite true, that title. I have muse, just not for the story I want to work on, which would be Vagabonds. Instead I strangely want to do Buffy/HP crossovers. I blame Deathly Hallows. And tthfanfic.com, of course. But besides that, the other problem is I just want to skip the particular arc and go to the next world because it's new, and so much happens there and, you know, baby!FF characters. Not saying which ones, for the 3 whole fans of Vagabonds who read this, but yeah, looking forward to that and other spoilery things. Just...Merg. I need a Kingdom Hearts pick me up.

I am unhappy because most of the KH fandom is still over there. Also, for some reason I'm not seeing a lot of the layouts properly despite clearing my cache and reloading. Hopefully this will fix itself soon, as I imagine it will. Could be my browser being weird.

So I'm in the shower and this knife came from nowhere, man and for some reason, my mind has gotten onto the "Why we put all the AU ideas to the back of our mind and never let them see the light of day" topic. It's a long topic. And where does my mind go, but suddenly popping up with a summary.

"Everyone knows Sora's a girl pretending to be a boy. Or is it Sora's a boy pretending to be a girl pretending to be a boy? Only Kairi and Riku know for sure, and they're not talking. A Classic High school AU - except for the monsters, the darkness, the light, and the chaos summoned Keyblades."

... Yes. Now we know why Natala doesn't do KH AUs, don't we? Because even as two summaries this is a bit off. As one, they're just plain crazy.

Also, my mind says that Roxas is Sora's twin, except not really, everyone just thinks he is but he's really just a shade of Sora that shares his soul - a backup that it was decided was needed. Their parents did this, because Sora has some great destiny. Or something. And Kairi's still a Princess of Heart, and was created from the deepest part of the Heart of their World. Naminé didn't exist until Kairi met Sora. And who knows what's going on with Riku, who has been experimenting with dark magic. Again, my muse provides. Sora and Roxas's parents specifically created their sons. Somehow. I'm not sure. And instead of the Keyblade unlocking different worlds, it unlocks different dimensions, alternate realities of the same world, which are of course, in deadly danger.

... What the hell? This isn't even the first time a sudden summary has hit me and given itself a whole plotline.

"When Riku went looking for Roxas for the second fight, he never found him. Roxas went into hiding, and it takes Sora an extra six months to wake up. But with no Keyblade Master killing the Heartless, Kingdom Heart remains incomplete. Sora awakens, ready to take up his duty - and finds a blond boy who looks oddly like him waiting there."

That summary has been bugging me for months. I might even take it up after vagabonds.

You know, this chapter? Totally wasn't supposed to be this long. And the content in it? Was supposed to take up only part of the chapter. A couple of things jumped me though. So hopefully it wasn't too bad considering the main plot didn't get moving much this chapter. Though, it all was kind of important and will come up later – if not in the story, in the side stories.
